Mayrit x Luz Madrid

It is a site-specific work, by the artist Ezequiel Nobili, for the Luz Madrid 2023 festival. With a poetic, vibrant, ephemeral and unique vision,
sought to revalue and transmit the meaning of the archaeological remains of the first wall of Madrid.
To do so, he intervened space, time and memory with an artistic proposal of the oldest Andalusian wall in Spain, revitalizing its incalculable value.

Using microphones and a CCTV camera system, the skin of the visitors was projected onto the stone, and the stone onto the spectators, creating a light that feeds back plastically and reciprocally.
